It is now confirmed that Dick Cheney is a liar and a criminal, as if any of us needed any further convincing:
In the interview whose participants included federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald, Cheney told agents that he did not recall having a conversation about either Plame or her husband with President George W. Bush.
The vice president said he probably discussed Wilson with Bush's top political adviser, Karl Rove, but told the FBI he would not have talked to Rove about Wilson's wife.
Cheney's denials that he talked about Plame are among the few things in the lengthy interview with the FBI that Cheney appeared certain about. He repeatedly said he could not recall key events. Among them, he said he did not recall discussing Wilson's wife with Libby before her CIA employment was publicly revealed by conservative columnist Robert Novak in mid-July 2003.
Evidence at Libby's criminal trial showed that Cheney had told Libby about Wilson's wife in mid-June 2003.

One of the best things that ever happened to this country was that the criminal Bush Administration spearheaded by lying, treasonous cowards like Dick Cheney is finally on the sidelines talking their garbage to the brainwashed masses that still worship them like gospel.
One of the most disgraceful things I have seen in my lifetime is that this group of folks, led by criminals and cowards were allowed to run our government, pick our economy clean, cause the deaths of thousands of people over their lies and greed, and then slither away into the sunset totally unscathed, with their fortunes made from fleecing millions of hardworking Americans safely tucked away.
The only consolation for millions of us who bore the brunt of their uncaring greed and treasonous actions is to know that history will leave them with a legacy of failure, idiocy, and death. Unfortunatey Dick Cheney is not reading about his failures in a prison cell. |
