WASHINGTON, Dec 30 (Reuters) - The eight American civilians killed in a suicide bombing at a military base in southeastern Afghanistan on Wednesday were all CIA agents, U.S. officials said. CIA officials were not immediately available to comment, and the U.S. officials said they could not provide details pending notification of the agents' families. The explosion, at a military base in Khost province near the border with Pakistan, caused one of the highest foreign civilian death tolls in an insurgent strike in the eight-year war.
Dick Cheney is not only a liar but he is a criminal too. Besides lying to the country to draw them into a war that killed thousands of people and made billions of dollars for himself and his shameless cronies, he also spearheaded the outing of a covert CIA agent which in my estimation is equivilent to treason. Then, to compound this he showed his utter cowardice by allowing his underling, Scooter Libby to take the fall for his crime.
U.S. Dictator Barack Obama once again made it clear that officials who tortured prisoners in violation of national and international law will go unpunished and are above the law, according to a Reuters news article posted today.
