by: RDemocrat

Fri Jan 01, 2010 at 22:02:33 PM EST

Looking around the internet it seems as if we see all kinds of folks making their predictions for the coming year and beyond. Here at Hillbilly Report we do not have a crystal ball and are not in tune with our Esoteric voices. However, it is kind of fun to play the game, so here I go. Feel free to add your "predictions" below.

Cheney On the Attack (Against America Again)

by: RDemocrat

Wed Dec 30, 2009 at 11:13:57 AM EST

Man, Dick Cheney is like Herpes. No matter what you do he just keeps coming back. It seems after leaving Washington D.C. in utter disgrace after allowing the worst attack in American history on her soil, failing to capture Osama bin-Laden, dropping the ball in Afghanistan, lying about Iraq to get us into a failed war there which cost trillions of dollars off the books as well as tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of lives, and allowing his greedy, fat-cat buddies to pick our economy clean crashing it, ole "Shotgun" would be wanting to hide under a rock. Of course when you have no conscience or sense of morals, why hide??

Its Official: Dick Cheney was a Lying, Treasonous Coward

by: RDemocrat

Fri Oct 30, 2009 at 18:22:25 PM EDT

Dick Cheney is not only a liar but he is a criminal too. Besides lying to the country to draw them into a war that killed thousands of people and made billions of dollars for himself and his shameless cronies, he also spearheaded the outing of a covert CIA agent which in my estimation is equivilent to treason. Then, to compound this he showed his utter cowardice by allowing his underling, Scooter Libby to take the fall for his crime.

Once a Dick, Always a Dick

by: RDemocrat

Thu Oct 22, 2009 at 17:09:57 PM EDT

The Republican Party as a whole is suffering from a huge case of mass amnesia. They seem to forget that they are the ones that crashed our economy. They seem to forget that they are the ones that made the whole world hate us. They forget that every policy they enacted was a miserable failure and that our country is paying huge, steep price for it now. In the case of Dick Cheney, he has forgotten that he was the one that dropped the ball on Afghanistan by insisting on a failed, costly in lives and treasure, war in Iraq.

Revenue Neutral for Health Care? Wall Street A Free Ride. What's Up With This?

by: Hillbilly

Mon Jul 13, 2009 at 20:35:29 PM EDT

The Iraq war, tax cuts for the wealthy, handouts to Wall Street fat cats, stimulus plan due to corporate greed. Are any of these revenue neutral? Nope. Did our representatives in Washington D.C., Democrats and Republicans, approve of them? You betcha. So why all the fuss about real Health Care Reform being revenue neutral even though 72% of us want a Public Option Plan? Do our representatives in D.C. think we are stupid. Yup! Do they think they can manipulate us? Yup! Will they get away with it? If history is our guide, they sure will. Is it all about money? Yup!  Money for them or money for us? Money for them! So what's going on here? Let's take a look at the at this.

Imagine That: Cheney Ordered Shredding of the Constitution

by: RDemocrat

Sun Jul 12, 2009 at 15:26:53 PM EDT

With the new revelations coming out that show what many Progressives already knew, that the Bush Administration had no respect whatsoever for our Constitution, other revelations come as no surprise. Neo-Con former Vice-President Dick Cheney had a leading role in keeping information from Congress that should have been disclosed. No wonder we were whipped into a frenzy of fear after 9-11. The Bush Administration wanted to use their own failures in preventing an attack they were warned about the circumvent our Constitution and Congressional oversight.

Republicans Roll Out Hypocrisy on Iran

by: RDemocrat

Tue Jun 23, 2009 at 14:08:33 PM EDT

Republican politicians think they see blood in the water on the response by the Iranian people to the election farce over there. I think one thing that all Americans can agree on is that these elections were rigged and unfair. The Iranian people, despite the oppression of their government theocracy realize it too, and have taken to the streets to voice their dissent.

Cheney Gets Called on His Sick Fantasies

by: RDemocrat

Mon Jun 15, 2009 at 18:30:29 PM EDT

A funny thing has happened every since Dick Cheney left office. Despite having failed miserably in protecting the American people from the 9-11 attacks, Dick Cheney wants to act like some kind of "expert" on National Security. I mean, it was not like the Bush Administration had a memo entitled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in the U.S." or anything. Oh wait, they did!! Despite this, they ignored the warnings and their incompetence allowed the worst attack ever on American soil.

Jim Cornette's an okay guy.

by: Archangel M

Thu Jun 11, 2009 at 12:45:21 PM EDT

Thanks to P. Yew for posting the links to these at The Free Speech Zone.

I don't agree with Cornette's glowing assessment of Obama, because it's obvious that the Democrat is George W. Bush's third term.  But I do share his frustration and anger with the right-wingers.

Expert Testimony Refutes Failed Vision of Dick Cheney

by: RDemocrat

Tue May 26, 2009 at 18:51:56 PM EDT

In diaries such as this one, I have chronicled how "Shotgun" Dick Cheney was a complete and total failure in preventing the worst attack ever on American soil and conducting the "War on Terror". Lately, although everything done by the Bush Administration to deal with terrorism and avenge the 9-11 attacks made our country less safe and cost thousands of lives, and over a trillion dollars of taxpayer money Cheney has been spouting off at every opportunity. Somehow, he thinks being a failed Vice-President under possibly the worst President in American History has made him some kind of expert or something.

Bush-Cheney II??

by: RDemocrat

Wed May 13, 2009 at 02:01:20 AM EDT

After suffering through eight years of the tedious ramblings and narrow-minded failures of Dick Cheney, one really had to hope with the end of the failed Bush Administration at least we would be through with "Shotgun". After the numerous failings he spearheaded, it really seems as if he would have wanted to sink into the oblivion that history will eventually create for him. When you have gotten away with all the sweet hundreds of billions he and President Bush have milked for themselves and their rich friends it seems like retirement would be in order. Why not enjoy golfing, and hunting, and spraying elderly men with buckshot??

Shotgun Cheney Draws More Fire

by: RDemocrat

Sun Apr 19, 2009 at 20:57:29 PM EDT

Former Vice-President and full-time nutty neo-con Dick "Shotgun" Cheney made plenty of news in office. Whether lying about the dangers of countries that did not attack us, or lying about the fact they did attack us, or shooting elderly men in the face, America's version of "Darth Vader" was a constant newsreel. Well, forced retirement in the disgrace that was the Bush/Cheney Administration has not keep his sunny disposition off the airwaves.

Biden Puts Shotgun Cheney in His Place

by: RDemocrat

Tue Apr 07, 2009 at 23:53:14 PM EDT

During the Bush years we saw many failures in foreign policy and national security. From missing a memo entitled "Bin-Laden Determined to Strike in the United States" to attacking the wrong country and wasting over a trillion dollars and thousands of lives, to isolating America from its allies in the world the Bush Administration led by "Shotgun" Cheney dangerously blundered along under a false vision and a failed pretense.
